Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce member businesses are reserving booth space for the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce's 9th Annual Business-to-Business Expo. The event will be held on Friday, November 12 at the Oak Ridge Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The Expo is designed to stimulate sales so anyone - Chamber member or not - is encouraged to attend. This year, the event will include presentations from various community organizations.
Chuck Hope, Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors and owner of Chuck's Car Care said, "This will be my fifth year participating in the Business Expo. It has been very beneficial to my business to build awareness of my company out in the community - both from a business-to-business standpoint and in allowing other consumers to know about my business."
The booths will remain open during the lunch hour allowing attendees who wish to come by during their break time to do so. During the event, representatives of several business and community organizations will present brief updates. The schedule is as follows:
9:30 a.m. John Eschenberg of DOE
10:15 a.m. Alan Eubanks of the Oak Ridge Rowing Association
11:00 a.m. Jesse Smith of Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley

According to Parker Hardy, President of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, "The Business Expo is one of many events the Chamber sponsors to encourage new business relationships. It is our largest networking event of the year and we're looking forward to a great day on the 12th. We're also pleased to offer the business community and the public the opportunity to find out what's going on in our community from several leaders of Oak Ridge organizations."
